Turnip greens cream

Turnip greens are one of the Apulian vegetables that best represent the region around the world. With their mix of sweet and bitter, turnip greens are a versatile vegetable. Excellent as a side dish when boiled and accompanied by oil and lemon, turnip greens are also the perfect ingredient for a variety of sauces, whether on their own or with sausage or bacon (the most classic combinations). Here you can find them in cream form in extra virgin olive oil. A tasty and savoury product perfect for spreading on bread, friselle pugliesi and bruschetta, but also to use as a sauce for pasta. In the latter case, the advice is to choose orecchiette pasta, and to add another drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a tablespoon of pasta cooking water.
